Description
A weave is brochée when certain of the weft threads forming the pattern are wound on separate bobbins or shuttles and enter the weave only in certain parts, spots where a given color is needed, instead of being shot across the full width of the warp
when the weft is carried directly across from side to side the weave is called lancée.
